Il re di Spagna e di Aragona Don Filippo III, a petizione dello Stamento Militare, determina l’età che ciascun membro di detto Stamento debbe aver compiuto, per poter votare e sostenere ufficio nelle Corti o Parlamento generale di Sardegna.

Illustrissimo y Excellentissimo Señor Lloctinent, y Capità general, y President en lo Real General Parlament.

Lo Estament Militar suplica a Vostra Excellencia, que per quant fins al present no se ha tengut regla, ni forma certa sobre la hedat que han de tenir las persones militares per ser habilitats, y admeses a votar en dit Stament, per hont ne ha succehit entre los Habilitadors del present Real general Parlament algunes difficultats en dret, y se son aderit a la hedat de setze ayns, que es a la que mes se es acostumat, que perço per evitar inconvenients se servesca Vostra Excellencia estatuyr, determinar, y fer lley universal, y certa per los devenidor, especificant la hedat que mes apparira convenir, y ser expedient, axi per entrar, y votar en dit Stament, com per tener officis en los dits Parlaments.

Decretum

Que tenint devuyt ayns complits sian admesos para poder votar en lo Militar; y habent complits vint y quatre ayns pugan eser admesos en oficis en dits Parlaments.

Ferdinandus Sabater Notarius, et Secretarius pro haerede Serra.

Està be decretat per lo Virrey, ab que la hedat dels que auran de votar en lo Estament aja de esser de vint ayns cumplits.
